Orders that fail the address validation process can now be re-evaluated and approved in bulk via a scheduled task. Such a task is able to find orders with address validation exceptions only and retry orders that show code/connectivity issues. When successful, the task can auto-correct the address, if applicable, and approve the exception, resulting in a new order status of Backordered, Reserved or ReservedApproved.
EDGE has improved the ways in which address validation exceptions are processed.
The ability to automatically mass reevaluate order address exceptions increases the likelihood that a substantial number of the addresses will actually be validatedreduces or eliminates the need for manual intervention.
